An exciting opportunity has become available within the MCC Ground Superintendent's Office (GSO). This job, which would be a fantastic starting point for anyone seeking a career in sports venue management, would see the successful applicant providing support, both administratively and operationally, across the GSO as a whole.
The staff of the GSO are responsible for managing a number of the key daily operational elements of Lord's such as stewarding, security, Pavilion management and cleaning. The scale of the operation of the GSO means that they are in regular communication with all other departments within MCC and work closely with these departments to help enhance the experience for visitors to the Ground.
Outside of the internal stakeholders, the GSO work in close collaboration with the England and Wales Cricket Board, Westminster City Council - the local licensing authority, the emergency services and broadcasters to assist with the preparations and management of major cricket matches such as Tests, One-Day Internationals and domestic T20 fixtures that take place at Lord's each season.

Essential Requirements:
Required skills and experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* High level of initiative, with administrative and organisational ability.
* An understanding of the importance of customer service/satisfaction.
* Tact, discretion and the ability to work quickly under pressure maintaining a high level of accuracy and detail.
* Ability to create relationships with all levels of department and other MCC departments
* IT literate, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
* High standard of personal presentation.
* Flexibility in work content and hours.
