Blanc (www.blanccleancom), is looking for assistant store managers for its Marylebone and Notting Hill Stores
Blanc is a young and dynamic people and planet friendly quality garment cleaning specialist. Blanc is a trendy concept re-imagining the world of clothes cleaning with health-and-eco-friendliness at the heart.
Blanc is sustainable in every way. We use biodegradable and health-friendly detergents instead of the toxic chemicals traditionally used by drycleaners. We smell good. We are ethical. We are convenient. Blanc cleans all clothes, even the most delicate, in a healthy, natural and sustainable way. We recycle and re-use resources, from hangers to bags to waste produced in our facilities.
Founded 5 years ago the business has since grown very strongly and been featured in VOGUE, ELLE, The Guardian and the Evening Standard.
Blanc also sells a range of carefully selected eco-friendly and home decoration products online and in store.
Our business is expanding very fast and we are looking for talented and motivated individuals to jump on board.
Competitive salary and incentives are in store for the ideal candidate.
This is a great opportunity for a committed and strong sales individual to reach store manager position, which could also evolve into a broader management role based on talent and achievements. The job will gradually include several other tasks such a local marketing, PR, partnerships, logistics and participating in the company’s rapid growth.
Main role functions:
- Operating on front of house engaging and greeting customers
- Working on till, processing transactions
- Handling customer enquiries
- Sales of products and advising on other services
- Use of your expertise to identify customer needs and suggest suitable products, alternatives and add-ons
- Building relationships with returning customers
- Dealing with suppliers
- Inspect garments for quality control, sorting and packaging garments on day-to-day basis
- Personality: Passion for delivering excellent customer service, plenty of flair and initiative, excellent customer facing skills; dynamic and enthusiastic; solution oriented, very organised; green minded, natural interest in environment
