Assistant General Manager – Cowshed, Clarendon Cross
The Role
We are currently searching for an experienced Assistant General Manager to look after our beautiful spa in Cowshed Clarendon Cross.
Key Responsibilities:
• To effectively assist in the management of the Cowshed team (including receptionists, Therapists, kitchen team and cleaners) ensuring that high standards are maintained at all times.
• To be a motivational leader capable of implementing team building strategies to ensure a strong and harmonious team spirit with low levels of staff attrition.
• Alongside the General Manager, continually develop individuals within the team, ensuring a consistent learning curve with a high level of motivation.
• Under the direction of the Cowshed General Manager assist and carry out appraisals and reviews of all staff.
• To hold weekly, monthly meetings to ensure effective team communication and continued professional development. Weekly meeting must consist of the team being made aware of their revenue targets. Provide support to ensure weekly targets are met and/or over exceeded.
• To be commercially aware and ensure that the business is efficient and profitable.
• Assist the General Manager in all budgetary control and financial planning.
• Ensure that costs are tightly controlled and that the correct margins are achieved on all products, treatments and food and beverage sales to ensure maximum profitability
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Assistant Manager, who has managed a team of 10 + in a busy environment. You must have exceptional leadership skills and uphold company standards at all times. We offer a competitive salary and Soho House benefits.
