Blades is an established unisex hair salon in the city of London providing the highest level of hair care and styling to clients. Our busy salons feature separate floors for barbering services.
We have a great opportunity for an experienced assistant manager who is seeking to develop their management potential and achieve a management level position within 6 months.

The Person
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced stylist with some management experience to fast track to a management role within six months.
The successful candidate will have the ability to manage their own client base, lead a team of stylists and oversee all aspects of managing a salon.
Essential Skills and experience
We are seeking a highly experienced and enthusiastic stylist with:
• At least five years experience in a hair salon
• Up to two years of management/supervisory experience
• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 Hairdressing or equivalent
• Excellent command of the English language
Main Responsibilities
• Leading the team on the salon floor
• Managing and growing the client base
• Managing and mentoring a team of stylists
• Managing recruitment
• Maintaining control of petty cash and daily till reconciliation
• Overseeing salon and sales stock
• Leading sales and liaising with product representatives
Other responsibilities may include input to marketing and promotions and overseeing social media activities. In addition there is scope to grow the female client base, which currently accounts for approximately 30% of business.
