We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager (Front of House) to join Friends, an award-winning AA Rosette restaurant in Pinner. This role would be a great first step into management and could suit someone who has recently passed hospitality qualifications and would like to start a career in management, or alternatively has worked in the industry and would like to progress.
We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent organisational and customer service skills to join our team, across days, evenings, and weekends. You will be expected to be responsible for:
• Day to day management of the restaurant
• Deployment of resources to provide the best service possible
• Opening and closing the restaurant
• Management of staff
• Coaching and developing staff
• Order and maintain levels of stock
• Maintain equipment
• Receiving customers
• Organising reservations
Candidate requirements:
• experience in a similar catering environment essential
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to deal with high pressure situations
• Able to exhibit a strong sense of commercial awareness
• Strong knowledge of proper food handling
• Reasonable knowledge of food and wine
