An exciting opportunity for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our fun, cool, informal Asian restaurant. Comprising some 60 covers including an al-fresco terrace, ULI is busy for lunch and dinner 7 days a week with a fashionable, loyal, local Notting Hill following.
We serve fresh, honest and simple Asian food, always made from scratch with an emphasis on the more healthy aspects of Asian cuisine.
Our ideal Assistant Manager is a passionate, people oriented person with an eye for detail who understands the values of excellent service.
Our brand is Informal and fun, but with a focus on providing excellence in service and food.
Supporting the General Manager, you will be responsible for:
• The day to day running of the restaurant and managing the floor.
• Providing a warm welcome to our guests, many of whom are known by name.
• The ability to train waiters to a high standard of service, and providing ongoing interesting training to our existing team.
• Inspiring and motivating the team, keeping them engaged and up-beat.
• Able to work under pressure and maintain a cool head.
