We are looking for an enthusiastic person, preferably `bubbly`, who would assist with running our Italian deli restaurant. You will be the person for `everything`. Your duties will be:
- Setting-up Rota; checking working hours of staff (6 employees); making sure that all the duties have been carried out, especially cleaning which must be done equally by all staff, including you; assisting with menu preparation; up-dating black board about daily specials; making sure all the products have price Tags if not you will print them out; making sure all the products are fully stocked on shelves; ordering stock, keeping Food Safety records up-to-date, answering to e-mails, etc.
- Preparing and selling coffees, sandwiches, salads, selling Italian food (pasta, sauces, meats, cheeses, etc.). You must have a passion about Italian food, be able to explain the use of certain Italian products (they are all on our website). You will work as a waiter/waitress during evening shifts (we have 23 covers).
This is a full-time position and you will be required to work weekends. You must have `an eye on details`, you must have good communication skills (be fluent in English and Italian to be able communicate with customers and suppliers), you need to be able to manage and motivate our staff, to be fair with them. We also NEED you to be bubbly, friendly, welcoming customers, making sure they get the best customer service possible.
The salary is negotiable and depends all about your skills and attitude.
