The Garden Shed is looking for a experienced and passionate Assistant Manager.
The Garden Shed is a fun, family friendly London pub with a Kiwi twist and we are looking for someone with the right experience and attitude to join our team. Located in South Wimbledon and showing all live sport, playing live music and serving great food.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Running and managing shifts
Assisting the GM with stock and orders
Helping train new and current staff
Marketing and advertising upcoming events and social media.
Interacting with guests ensuring they have the right experience.
Communicating with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
Keeping to the high standards of cleanliness.
Collecting and acting on customer feedback.
Adhering to budgets, increasing profits and managing cash flow.
Enforcing heath and safety and adhering to appropriate due diligence.
End of week and financial reporting
The Ideal candidate will be.
Experienced at a supervisory role or above for a minimum of 2 years.
Well presented
Great communication skills
Enthusiastic and passionate about great food, drink and service.
Customer friendly
Not afraid to get their hands dirty!
