Tap Taverns are seeking a passionate Assistant General Manager for newly launched independent pub/bar offering, focused on an extensive range of craft Beers and modern British meat cuisine.
Our ideal candidate will be working alongside an experienced team of hospitality individuals, who are seeking a highly personable individual with at least 2 years’ experience at assistant manager level, or those with significant managerial level of experience.
Candidates must have exceptional standards and a real passion for food, drinks and hospitality, whilst ensuring the day to day operations of the business are fulfilled.
Roles and responsibility to include:
-Assisting the GM in management of GPs, staffing and rotas, and stock
-Customer services, people management and staff training
-Cash handling, reporting
-Site and cellar management to high standard.
-Licencing, Health and safety, fire and food compliance
-Superior product knowledge and supplier’s relationships to develop the beer and business offering.
