About Us:
After spending the first three and a half years at our original site in Arcola Street, we were presented with the opportunity to move to a bigger and better restaurant space in Dalston.
We obviously jumped at the chance, and in October 2021 Jones and Sons was re-born on Gillett Street. With space for 90 covers in the main restaurant, 70 in the function room and a further 40 in our outside courtyard, Jones and Sons offers full table service and is a grown-up departure from the clamor of the vibrant late-night Kingsland Road institutions.
Job Description:
As an assistant manager you will be responsible in supporting the general manager in the day to day running of the business and be the main point of contact in their absence. Engaging and developing the team, continually listening and creating a culture of teamwork and support will be central to ensuring you deliver a high performance environment for the team to excel in.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a passionate, motivated and experienced Assistant GM to join our fantastic team.
The right candidate will have;
experience in a restaurant supervisory role within a fast paced environment.
Exceptional service standards with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Strong organisation and problem solving abilities.
Leadership and delegation skills including the ability to train and mentor the team.
experience is important but we are more interested in finding the right fit for our ever expanding restaurant and event team, We need someone who is highly ambitious, has lots of energy and can produce positive results. An excellent and confident communicator with very good interpersonal skills and a natural ability to motivate the team around you.
