For two years now, The Good Egg has been serving up delicious Israeli- and New York Deli-inspired brunch and small plates designed to get guests sharing at its Stoke Newington neighbourhood spot. The restaurant’s reputation as one of London's top eateries continues to have eager customers queuing up to two hours for brunch at the weekends, and an evening dinner service that’s often fully booked well in advance.

Positions:
● Assistant General Manager
● Restaurant Supervisor
(Roles offered depending on experience.)
Salary:
● AGM up to 30k per annum
● Restaurant Supervisor up to £28k per annum

General duties:
Customer service and operations:
● Understanding our food and drink menus and serving them to the highest standard
● Interacting with customers and providing excellent service
● Meeting company and statutory standards with regards to cleanliness of restaurant and back of house
● Managing each shift to ensure the team is productive and customers are happy
● Ensuring all company procedures are adhered to with regards to health and safety, hygiene and licensing
● Ensuring the restaurant is always appropriately staffed in order to meet customer requirements
● Managing and overseeing food quality from kitchen to ensure company standards/customer expectations are met
● Being responsible for opening and closing the building (i.e. Being a primary key holder)
Cash and stock handling:
● Ensuring that all transactions are carried out accurately, to guarantee that correct and legal tender is exchanged.
● Banking and cash reconciliation, plus management of tills and safe
Hygiene/health and safety:
● Assisting in the management of all health and safety training and systems, paperwork, food safety training, EHO visits, pest control, COSHH, risk assessments
Team Management
● Leading, managing, developing and motivating the team to achieve the highest possible standards
● Identifying development needs of the team and addressing by providing the appropriate coaching and training
