WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for the next generation of Assistant General Manager here at Grind. We’re a young and ambitious company and are looking to recruit driven AGMs who are passionate about the hospitality industry and progressing their career. As an Assistant General Manager of course we expect the usual stuff on a day-to-day basis; running your site in style and supporting your GM to meet site targets. In return we will have a structured personal development plan for you to push your career to the next stages from an Assistant General Manager to General Manager.
A BIT ABOUT US
David and Kaz started Grind and Co. In 2011, wanting somewhere to hang out when they weren't working - or even when they were - and could get a proper cup of coffee like in Melbourne, Kaz's home town. Grind now has 9 sites across central and east London, each smashing out coffee, cocktails and food day to night, and we now also have our own roastery and training lab in Shoreditch. The atmosphere in Grind is fast-paced and vibrant, with strong emphasis on quality coffee, seasonal food, cocktails and always the best service. With 6 café/bars and 3 restaurants, we have developed a strong all-day to night offering and service with passion and presence is our game.
YOUR ROLE
As Assistant General Manager we expect you to be the one to lead the team, drive service and sales and be the constant face of energy and passion on the floor! We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in restaurant or cafe management, strong experience of leading and developing a team, loves leading from the front and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty.
