We are looking for passionate, hardworking, lovely people to join us at rhubarb.
Since January 2011,   rhubarb have been at the Royal Albert Hall providing all food and drink at one of the world’s most iconic venues. The Royal Albert Hall operation consists of 3 dining spaces: Verdi Italian Kitchen, Coda Restaurant, Elgar Bar and Grill, 14 bars, 1 retail outlet, 147 hospitality boxes and offers seated dinners for up to 2000 guests on a special raised floor in the auditorium.
There is now an exciting opportunity to join the ever-growing, dynamic team at the Royal Albert Hall and be a part of the story rhubarb is writing.
We are now looking for a passionate and hands on Assistant F and B; Cost Controller who is ready for a new professional challenge in this bespoke Premium environment.
Objectives:

Assisting in smooth and efficient running of rhubarb’s F and B; purchasing, stock handling/holding logistics and cost control.
Efficient and controlled orders, stock management and account queries.
Conduct any additional duties assigned by line manager or senior management team.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Food and Beverage cost control and data management.

Update Verteda with relevant unit prices, levels.
Place all F and B; orders
Manage all ordering of stock in reference to supplier’s delivery time slots.
Assisting in creating sales report for all F and B; outlets.
Input all delivery notes into relevant software – Micros, Opera, etc.
Process all F and B; invoices through company I/S.
Entering invoices into relevant software – Opera, Micros, etc.

Reporting

Ensure the inventory databases are well maintained, current and accurate, through regular audits of compliance and process all reports accessible via my inventory.
Monitor and control all beverage handling in the building.
Attend weekly meeting with F and B; cost controller working through action points assigned.
Updating labour reports
Raising invoices, backing up data

Stock take and inventory control

Receive all stock takes from outlets and input into inventory.
Check accuracy of stock take and review min. Par stock levels.
Conduct inventory of stock on a weekly basis.
Investigate beverage and food discrepancies and submit findings in a report to F and B; cost controller.

Candidate profile:

Interest/knowledge of the events, hospitality sectors.
Strong Computer/MS office skills and good data management, report and budget writing skills.
Methodical and have good attention to detail.
Ability to adapt to changing environment
Ability to communicate at all levels and work within a team.
Ability to meet set project deadlines
