Assistant Communal Plant Manager

Peabody has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Communal Plant Manager to join our team in London. The successful applicant will join us on a full time, permanent  basis and will receive a salary of £31,704 - £44,760 per annum.
Peabody and Family Mosaic have merged, creating a new housing association providing 55,000 homes to 111,000 people across London and the South East. Our combined scale and strong focus on London will uniquely position us to revolutionise housing delivery and redefine best practice – and you will be central to making it happen.
As the Assistant Communal Plant Manager, you will ensure that all mechanical installations within the housing stock are maintained to a high standard in accordance with good engineering practice to ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
Skills, knowledge and experience required by the Assistant Communal Plant Manager:
- Substantial experience of working in M and E; engineering.
- Expert knowledge of gas and mechanical installations.
- Substantial experience of managing contractors and consultants.
- Substantial experience of managing projects to install M and E; equipment.
- Substantial experience of running major quality control regimes to establish contractual and statutory compliance.
- Substantial experience of applying new technology to improve service delivery.
- experience of investigating incidents and managing the diagnostic process for M and E; service failures.
- experience of analysing complex performance data.and using it to manage the performance of contractors and plant.
Qualifications required by the Assistant Communal Plant Manager:
- Acs in the following as a minimum: ccn1, cen1, ckr1, cpa1, dah1, wat1, htr1, uhws, ee1, cocn1, cmdda1, tpcp1a.
