40 + Hours, 5 Days a week.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Chef to assist our Head Chef at our recently opened venue Loven bakery in Tottenham Hale. We are looking for someone enthusiastic with a passion for food and cooking. Someone with a can-do attitude, able to work as part of a small close team but also take responsibility for keeping high standards of hygiene and quality of product.
Duties
-Working with the Head chef to do daily preparation and mise-en-place.
-Head up the evening service, serving a small menu of pasta, meat and fish dishes and anti-Pasto style small plates.
-Maintain high levels of food hygiene and food safety regulations in terms of appearance, practice and discipline.
-Supervise the end-of-day closing in the kitchen ensuring a high level of cleanliness, food hygiene and organisation.
-Assist with menu development, stock control and ordering.

-Hardworking, reliable and punctual with a professional attitude and respect for other team members.
-Open minded and willing to develop, able to learn and respond well to constructive critisism and be pro-active in helping the team develop.
-Good understanding of English
-Able to work evenings and weekends
