Party Ingredients are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Assistant Catering Manager to work at great events all over London.
Assistant Catering Manager support Catering Managers in a trainee capacity, working towards full Event Catering Management by focusing on specific areas of event preparation and delivery and gaining expertise across the full spectrum of events.
Your duties will include:

Assessing requirements for set ups with an Event Catering Manager.
Organising set ups in rooms (linen and equipment), for bars (wine and glass preparation) and in the kitchen (counting and prep of crockery and cutlery).
Ensuring that at all times the venue and back of house areas are presented as well as possible both for the venue staff, and visitors to the building.
Set up and tear down at events.
Ensuring adequate preparation for upcoming events, working with an Event Catering Manager on site and at HQ.
Serving food and drink and events of all types.
Assisting with packing, loading and unloading vans and lorries at base.
Supporting deliveries (internal and external).

Salary
£25,000Pa for an average of 7 shifts per week, including weekend days, over 5 days. 28 days hols pa. 28 days hols pa and subsidised gym membership scheme. Employee Profit Share scheme.
This role would suit an experienced event waiter who has perhaps been working with event staffing agencies and is ready to begin a career in event hospitality.
NB – this role requires full UK driving License.
