Rhubarb is expanding its family at the iconic Royal Albert Hall.
Since January 2011, rhubarb have been at the Royal Albert Hall providing all food and drink at one of the world's most iconic venues. The Royal Albert Hall operation consists of 4 dining spaces: Verdi Italian Kitchen, Coda Restaurant, Elgar Bar and Grill, Door 12 Cafe Bar, 14 bars, 147 hospitality boxes and offers seated dinners for up to 2000 guests on a special raised floor in the auditorium.
There is now an exciting opportunity to join the ever-growing, dynamic team at the Royal Albert Hall and be a part of the story rhubarb is writing.
We are recruiting a self-motivated Assistant Cafe Bar Manager for Door 12 Cafe Bar, who is ready for a new professional challenge in this bespoke Premium environment.
Job role
- To achieve operational and commercial success for the retail outlet
- Drive revenue performance and maximize sales opportunities
- Develop additional revenue streams including bar sales, promotional display changes, etc.
- To be fully versed in all duties within the Retail/ Cafe Bar operation in order to ensure a smooth and efficient delivery proactively seeking improvements and reacting to challenges as they arise.
Candidate profile
- You will have gained previous working experience within a retail outlet, catering or large scale hospitality.
- You will have the ability to motivate, develop and lead the team by demonstrating Initiative and enthusiasm
- You are able to commit to flexible work pattern undertaking evening shifts as well as weekend work.
- You will possess an excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- You will be an excellent team player, able to communicate at all levels and commit to sharing your knowledge and skills.
