We are a well established firm of Chartered Accountants based at Oxford Circus, Central London and are looking for an Assistant Accountant to help manage the bookkeeping, VAT and payrolls for a growing portfolio of clients using cloud based accounting software.
The role involves:
• managing Xero bookkeeping for a varied range of clients
• preparation of VAT returns
• preparation of monthly payrolls
• management reporting
• significant client contact by telephone and email
• assisting other staff in the preparation of annual accounts and tax returns
The successful candidate must have:
• excellent written and oral English
• good bookkeeping experience
• a sound understanding of VAT and payroll
• good time and work management skills
