The successful applicant is likely to be a level 4 AAT or part-qualified/affiliate ACCA with experience working in public practice required.
Responsibilities include:
Preparation of small limited company accounts as well as sole trader and partnership accounts.
Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns and Personal Tax Returns.
Client bookkeeping and preparing VAT returns.
Payroll and RTI submission.
The role will have responsibility dealing with a small portfolio of clients (with partner oversight). It is also necessary to work well as part of small team. Excellent command of written and spoken English is required.
Candidates must have:
Excellent skills with MS Office (Excel).
Excellent bookkeeping knowledge and practical application.
Good knowledge of accounting software (Xero, Sage 50, QuickBooks)
experience using accounts production software (Sage Accounts Production, VT) and tax software.
Candidate must also have a British passport or right to work in the UK.
