Assistant Financial Accountant

£40000 - £50000 per annum
Client is Reinsurance arm of an International Specialist Insurer, based in Central London. Client currently is looking to bring in a Finalist/Newly Qualified Accountant to join their team for an 18 month period.
Role requirements;
* Internal Reports - analysing quarterly results for board packs and head office reporting
* Tax Returns (Insurance Premium Tax, Corporation Tax
* Other Returns to the PRA and FCA
* Key individual in dealing with internal/external auditors
* Review Investments and Cash/Bank as well as Expenses and Fixed Assets
Profile requirements;
* Part/Newly qualified from any recognised accountancy body (ACA, ACCA, CIPFA, Cima)
* Reinsurance/Insurance experience is advantageous
* Audit background desirable
* Working knowledge of relevant accounting standards (UK or International GAAPs)
