**** SEN Teaching Assistant ******** SEPTEMBER START ******** SOUTHWARK ****An outstanding SEN school in Lambeth, near Brixton is recruiting an experienced teaching assistant to start in September 2022. This is a full time position, working hours 8.30am - 4pm. Catering for 100 pupils aged 11-19 years old students have a statement of ASD and social and communication difficulties. As well as a varied curriculum, they also offer a number of therapies such as speech and language and art therapy.The selected applicant will have previous SEN experience, especially with ASD and communication needs. You will be required to support students 1:1 within lessons. Knowledge of PECS and Makaton would be advantageous.
