Artisan baker to join the team in our production kitchen in antipodea, in the heart of Putney.
Are you an ambitious and dedicated baker ready join our busy bakery which is part of our successful restaurant group? We offer stability and development to all of our fabulous employees in exchange for your passion.
We have an established bakery set in the heart of Putney with an experienced team producing great quality, artisan breads for our restaurant chain and general retail based in Southwest London.
Our product range is ever expanding but the core of the offer is: sourdough, brioche and Turkish pide.
We have state of the art equipment and a wealth of knowledge to drive the business forward. We are set to triple our retail offer into the wholesale market over the next 6 months and need expert bakers to help us achieve this goal. Fresh food, local produce and passion for top quality is at the heart of what we're all about!
Baker Responsibilities include:
Establishing product line of bread and baked goods.
Creation of new recipes for bread and morning pastries.
Hands-on participation in the entire production.
Enthusiastic management and training of baking personnel.
Stock management and adherence to company procedures.
Baker Required Skills/experience:
Professional background and experiences in bakery field.
Approachable and energetic working skills.
Strong and passionate with a creative product vision.
Strong teamwork capability and interpersonal skills.
Ability to produce high-quality artisan breads, pastries and other baked goods.
Working hours are Monday-Friday 16:00-00:00, Saturday-Sunday 12:00-21:00 on a Rota basis, 5 days per week, 45-50 hrs.
The successful candidate will be working alongside the rest of our production team and will have exposure to the pastry, butchery and larder sections.
