It can be hard for many people to keep themselves motivated at work<\/a>.\u00a0 For some, simply getting a pay check on time is motivation enough.\u00a0 For others, this may not be enough to keep them fully motivated, especially if the work that is done is in any way tedious, boring or monotonous.\u00a0 If your pay check is not enough of a motivating factor, you may need some tops on how to stay motivated in the workplace.<\/p>\n

If your company allows it, you could bring a portable radio with you to your workplace<\/a> that will provide background noise and it will make it more pleasant to work when there is not dead silence. If a portable radio is not practical, you may want to ask instead if you can use your iPod or mp3 player instead to provide some entertainment when handling tedious chores.\u00a0 This background noise can be just what you need to stay motivated, especially if you are listening to upbeat music that makes you happy.<\/p>\n

If you are not allowed to have music of any kind in your work place, then you may want to try other methods to stay motivated.\u00a0 You can take a quick break for a stretch of your body at your desk.\u00a0 This will allow you to get the blood flowing through your body.\u00a0 It is good for you to do this as your body will respond and wake up and will allow for better concentration.\u00a0 This is especially true for those who work at a computer all day.\u00a0 The eyes also will benefit from this break and you will find that each hour goes much more quickly when you are stretching your muscles and giving your body this tiny break.\u00a0 You will be more inclined to not lose motivation if you have this small break to look forward to each hour.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
