Growing construction site canteen operator group that offer great food and drinks in a, high volume – quick turnover environment.
The Chef's table provide canteens and catering solutions to the construction industry and are currently looking for an area / operations manager to oversee multiple sites around London.
Job Description:
Typical scope of work includes but is not limited to:
- Interviewing training and managing staff at all levels.
- Overseeing the setting up and starting of new sites including kitchen install.
- Managing day to day problems / issues and resolving to satisfactory level.
- Maintaining good relationships with our landlords / clients.
- P and L management and driving the businesses profits
- Maintaining excellent hygiene record for the group.
Necessary requirements:
- The Area Manager will be a hands-on leader that is financially astute, a great team player and should have experience in a similar canteen or restaurant setting.
- At least 1 year at Management level
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and food hygiene practices.
- A confident business Manager
- An approachable, friendly, and relaxed manner
- Calm and unflappable demeanour and ability to work with chefs whilst under pressure.
- Computer literate with knowledge of excel, word and epos systems
- Chef / Kitchen experience a real bonus, but not a necessity.
