We are Hood and we are an independent Modern British restaurant and bar in South London. We have a first rate Head Chef to learn from, a great team, a beautiful relaxed restaurant with loyal customers and we need an enthusiastic and skilled chef to join us.
Food wise we serve simple Modern British dishes using local, seasonal ingredients. Traceability and provenance of produce is key and our suppliers are displayed on the restaurant wall for customers to see.
Our place is 48 covers plus some bar counter seating and we are open 6 days a week with a brunch and dinner service Tuesday - Saturday and a brunch service on Sundays. We are closed Sunday evenings and Mondays. Our kitchen has windows so no working in dark basements at Hood! And we have a pretty good craft beer list you can sample.
To join our brigade you need to be really into food, have some creativity and be imaginative plus all the other that's critical for being a chef in a busy kitchen.
Please be a positive person with charisma, a good line in funny jokes and your own chef whites.

Salary depending on experience (better than out of London maybe a bit less than Zone 1.) plus tips, staff discounts on food and drink and team socials.
