Job Description: Trainee Manager
Main Purpose of Job:
Training to be a Manager to support and enable the smooth running of the arcade within the terms and conditions of the Licence. As a Trainee Manager main purpose of Job is to undertake responsibility for the general day to day running and management of the arcade and supporting staff on duty. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

Giving change to the customers
Make and serve beverages to the customers.
To ensure all the arcade (inside/outside) and machines are kept clean and tidy at all times maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness.
Ensure excellent customer care  and awareness of current promotions.
To uphold the Licence conditions and codes of practice.
Enforcing the Company’s "Challenge 25" policy. To ask for approved photo ID from any customer who looks under 25. No under 18’s are permitted in the arcade at ANY time.
Ensure all safety and security measures are met.
Assist Managers/supervisors with any tasks required such as getting supplies for the shop.

Training to be a keyholder/shift Manager to include the following:

To fully understand the Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice and to ensure the shop operates at all times without breaching the Licence Regulations.
Open and Close the premises in line with the company policies.
Timely and accurate completion of all working sheets and records.
To ensure that all health, safety and security measures are met. Reporting and remedying, where safe and possible to do so, any matters that may arise.
Ensuring that there is a pleasant atmosphere throughout the arcade for both customers and staff.
Delegate tasks to and assisting the supporting member of staff on duty as appropriate, to achieve a productive atmosphere.
To maintain a strict level of confidentiality with regards to the company's business and working practices.
To move machines as necessary, ensuring you have read the Health and Safety guide to ensure this is done in a safe manner and only at appropriate times.
