Apprentice Brewer Job in London

Role:
We are looking for driven and engaging individual to join us at Long Arm Brewing Co as an Apprentice Brewer. You do not need to be have a degree in brewing but a keen interest in beer and how things are made is essential. This job is a one of kind job; not only will you become a trained Brewer but we will put you through the IBD General Certificate in Brewing. You will be in charge of brewing and the day to day running of our South Ealing site.
Key responsibilities will include:
. Insure brewing continues to specification and to our high standards
. Stock management at the Ealing site and the warehouse alongside the Packing Coordinator
. In charge of all preparation and cleaning of the brewery
. Checking and maintaining Beers during fermentation and in storage
. Keeping up with the day to day maintenance of the brewery
. Working with the sales and marketing team to achieve Long Arm goals
You:
We are looking for a team player who can think on their feet. You will be joining a small team but you will be part of a company that is growing very quickly. A degree is not essential but A levels in Maths and or Science welcomed. Other key attributes we are looking for include:
. A disciplined time keeper
. An excellent communicator
. Friendly and engaging with other team members and consumers
. Must be able to complete manual labour
. Computer literate
. Clean driving license
Location: South Ealing, London. You must be able to get to Ealing for early starts.
Hours: 45 hrs a week but flexibility is a must as beer doesn’t follow our clocks
