Our London client requires an immediate and experienced Hotel Meeting and Events Sales Executive for an ongoing placement who can support the M and E Sales Manager in running the M and E department as well as convert business.
MUST have experience of OPERA PMS and Ideally Opera S and C.
Duties of a Meeting and Events Sales Executive will include:
Working within an office environment as part of a team.
Maximising yield on the hotel’s conference facilities in order to meet budgetary targets.
Maintaining daily contact with client regarding enquiries for conferences, banquets and reservations by telephone, fax, email and face to face.
To handle all enquiries for private events, ensuring the highest level of conversion into confirmed booking.
Support the M and E Sales Manager
Up-sell all departments
Update and manage all 3rd party websites with current offers and promotions.
As M and E Sales Executive you will need to be a strong organised individual with at least 12 months minimum hotel M and E Sales Senior/Supervisory experience with a good command of English both spoken and written, as well as high level of computer literacy.
