Job description
Department:  Food and Beverage             Position:  Food and Beverage Attendant.
Scope and general purpose of the job:

To meet and greet guests in a genuinely friendly, professional and courteous manner.
To perform tasks relating to posting, transactions and payment accurately and efficiently.
To perform tasks relating to guest food and beverage service accurately and efficiently.
To maintain the highest level of professional customer service at all times.

Industry experience required:
Restaurant experience is required.
General requirements:

Excellent organisation and customer interaction skills.
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
Well presented with a professional manner.
Must be flexible, work well under pressure and maintain excellent multitasking abilities.

REPORTS TO:           Renato - Food and Beverage Manager.
JOB TITLE:  F and B Attendant
Key performance duties
Operations

Provide professional and efficient food and beverage service to meet and exceed guest expectations.
Follow departmental standard operating procedures in the work place at all times.
Maintain a high level of menu content knowledge.
Maintain a high level of  Academy Hotel knowledge including history, opening times and facilities.
Perform all duties relating to the opening and closing of department.
Carry out all duties assigned individually, to allocated section or on shift basis.
Carry out prompt and efficient clearing and resetting of tables.
Ensure effective inter-departmental communication so as to achieve efficient teamwork and accurate information for our guests.
Ensure quality of care of all hotel equipment and property.
Ensure all breakages are recorded correctly and reported to a manager.

Carry out daily and weekly cleaning schedules as requested.
Respond proactively to guest queries, ensuring that appropriate action is taken in the absence of the manager/assistant, followed by effective communication.
Report all maintenance defaults affecting efficient and professional delivery of service to management.
Greet departing guests in a professional and genuine manner.
Carry out any other reasonable requests as directed by department manager or General Manager.

Financial

Ensure all charges are passed onto the system and Frontdesk in a efficient manner.
Ensure all wastage and transfers are recorded correctly and reported to a manager.

Human Resources

Behave at all times in accordance with the Academy Hotel company handbook.
