Hello,
We are looking for a trustworthy, confident, proactive, energetic, friendly, responsible person, who has experience caring for young boys to join our family as our live in Au Pair. We are a family of four with 2 boys aged 5½ and 2½ years and live in a family house in Barkingside (IG6).
The job is to start as soon as possible or late May.
Our house is walking distance from Barkingside tube station (central line) and Barkingside high street. You can reach Central London (Oxford Street) in 25 minutes. You would have a lovely spacious bedroom in the Loft with a double bed and access to WiFi.
Our eldest son is in primary school and attends many after school clubs, and our younger son attends a part-time nursery. Mum works part-time 3-4 days per week and dad works away from home a lot that's why we need some help with the kids.
You will be required to help get children ready before school/nursery, child care after school and daytime care in school holidays. You will be required to prepare breakfast, pack lunches and occasional family meals in evening, so a love of cooking is essential. Household role includes maintaining and cleaning the kitchen and living area, grocery shopping, doing family laundry and to be part of a busy vibrant household. The Au Pair’s weekly hours will be around 30-35 hours (but hours may vary day to day/week to week).
We would also expect up to 2 nights babysitting per week (one during the week and one during the weekend).
You will learn a lot from our family as we are a British born but of Sikh/Indian back ground. The whole family is non-smoking, non-alcohol drinking, and vegetarian.
We are offering £100 per week.
Please apply if you have:
- Good level of English
- Available for a minimum 6 months commitment
- Previous childcare experience essential
- Non-smoker is essential
- Knowledge of first aid would be ideal
- References will be required
- A clean police/DBS certificate
- Must be legally allowed to live and work in the UK and have any visa requirements already in place.
If this is of an interest, please email me your CV and a photo.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Gurpreet.
