An opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist/Ambassador at Urban Villa.
As part of the Front Office Department you will be responsible for checking guests in and out, dealing with requests and enquiries, cash handling and answering the telephone. You will also ensure that maximum guest comfort and satisfaction is achieved at all times, through providing 5 star service.
Currently working in a similar role you will be customer focused with a professional and approachable manner with the ability to establish positive relations and rapport quickly. You must be able to multi-task under pressure and be a confident communicator at all levels. This is a full time role.
Main Task and responsibilities:
- Guest check in and check out
- Take the time to get to know each guest so that we can personalize their hotel experience
- Learn about the best restaurants, bars, shows and events so that you can educate our guests
- Book restaurants, transport, shows, clubs, etc.
- Responsible for smooth operation of the property overnight
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times
- Welcome guests in a polite, friendly manner and manage queries
- Conduct regular security walks throughout the property, taking control in any emergency situation

As the Ambassador, you will be responsible for ensuring that every guest, staying at the hotel or just dropping by to have a drink, has a unique, memorable and playful experience.

To be fluent in English, both written and verbal

Hotel experience necessary - we are looking for individuals with people experience (ie. Retail, bartender, etc.)
