Afterschool nanny start date January 2nd 2022
We are a busy, active family of 4 (G: 5; B:
3) Whose current nanny is unfortunately relocating to another city in December.
We are looking for a live out afterschool nanny for 4 days a week for the hours of 3.15 to 6.30, 3 days a week and 4.15 to 6.30, 1 day a week - a total of 12 hours per week.
In addition to caring for the children, a key focus of role will be assisting the older child with her homework and teaching the younger child the basics. Therefore, we are ideally looking for someone with experience in education and in particular someone who has worked with children in KS1.
We really want this person to become part of our family and are looking for someone who is nurturing, caring and able to help the children learn in a fun way. They must also be reliable, energetic and imaginative.
We also need this person to help out with full time childcare during the school holidays – there is some flexibility here as the children can attends clubs for some of the holidays.
Duties include:
• Picking the older child up from school at 3.15, 3 days a week and 4.15, 1 day a week.
• Feeding her (food will already be prepared and will only need to be reheated) and changing her clothes
• Doing her homework and some additional work in specific areas
• Dropping her to afterschool activities – currently this is one day a week
• Once homework is completed picking the younger child up from nursery and doing some fun learning based activities with him
• We ask that you keep the house tidy and return it to us as you found it.
Essentials:
Own car
experience in education
Previous experience as a nanny
Willing to do some additional hours during the school holidays
Pay is negotiable and dependent on experience.
