9. Driving is essential for this role. You will need to have your own car to get to work but if you prefer there is a car at the property for you to use for working purposes.
The role would be live out and you could work 20 to 30 hours a week depending on your availability, and you would need to definitely be available to work in the afternoons until 7.30pm Monday to Thursday. If you wanted to work on Fridays then that would be available but you could finish earlier.
The role would include arriving at the house early afternoon in time to do the housekeeping side of the role - doing the children's laundry and making sure that gym kits and school uniforms are available for the next day, making sure that the house is generally tidy, keeping the children's room clean and tidy, and preparing supper for the children. If you want to work more hours then you could arrive a little earlier and do more housekeeping around the house. The family do have a cleaner who comes in during the week. You would then leave to pick the children up from school and look after them, take them to various activities, cook supper for them and stay until the parents come home at 7.30pm.
It is essential that you have worked as a housekeeper in an executive style home for at least 2 years with suitable references, and you must also have looked after children of a similar age. You will need to have a happy personality, be reliable and love working with children.
