After School Role in Clapham South, Caring for 2 boys 11 and 9, September Start.

This family are looking for a new nanny to join their family and help look after their 2 boys aged 11 and.
9. Their current KiwiOz nanny is sadly heading back home to Australia and they would like to find a great person to take over.

The oldest child has special needs and he is very engaging with a good sense of humour and can be lots of fun and is strong willed. He loves getting out and about – trips into town, bowling, and even enjoys shopping and going to the supermarket! He attends a local special needs school. Their other son is very active, fun and enthusiastic and loves sport. He does a number of after school activities including swimming and tennis.

The Hours for this position are Monday-Friday 3pm-7pm during the term time with one babysit per week (25 hours total). During the school holidays the nanny will be working Monday-Friday 50 hours per week.

The main duties for this position include, collecting the boys from school, taking them to clubs, engaging them in activities, organising playdates, supervising homework and drum practice, reading, preparing healthy dinners, supervising the ed and bath time routine, the children’s laundry, keeping their rooms clean and helping out with the groceries.

The family want a nanny who is responsible, active, bright, adventurous and positive person with a ‘can do’ attitude. Someone who is calm and patient and has lots of common sense and can think for themselves. Ideally you will have experience of looking after children of a similar age and some experience of / interest in special needs would be very valuable. You need to be a confident driver with a valid license for driving in the UK. We have a second car which would be available for use during working hours.

The family have a Cocker Spaniel puppy, so the nanny must be comfortable working around dogs.
