We are a happy busy family who work in the arts in need of some short-term help with looking after our two boys 5 and 8 after school starting November 20. Hours likely 3:30-7pm Monday-Weds though some flexibility will be needed depending on our freelance hours. This job is initially for 4 weeks until Christmas, but could easily turn into a longer-term arrangement with more hours in the week for the right person.
We are looking for someone really lovely and warm who is experienced with children, has a recent DBS check, and excellent checkable employment references and English- but mostly someone who can take great care playing, reading and laughing with our little guys. They are full of energy and ideas so the person we are hoping to find to look after them will be too. After pick up from school we need help to take them to their various after school clubs and play dates, bring them home for homework and playing creatively, cook them (or heat them up!) a healthy dinner, and help them start to wind down for bed time. Someone who can help them negotiate sibling warfare over the favourite dinosaur without shouting and who is not addicted to their phone is a must!
