After School Nanny in Willesden Vacancy

Posted: Today
Place: Willesden, London

After-school nanny in Willesden
Hours - 3pm-6.30pm from Mon-Thursday.
Full days (8.30am-6.30pm) during school holidays. This is flexible as the children can attend holiday clubs for a couple of weeks a year, but we'd like nanny for the bulk of school holidays.
Start date: Negotiable, but needs to be in the next few weeks
Our family
We're a friendly laid-back family with two children - a bright, chatty 6 year old daughter and a very jolly, playful 4 year old boy.
We live in Willesden, NW10 - the nearest station is Kensal Rise overground or Dollis Hill and Willesden Green on the Jubilee line.
They both love going to the park, reading, and riding their scooters. Our daughter loves looking after her 'Baby', a doll she takes incredibly good care of. Our son is obsessed by dinosaurs!
It's important to mention that our daughter unfortunately has a medical condition and is currently undergoing hospital treatment. Nanny doesn't have involvement with the medical side but needs to be aware of the situation - she is sometimes tired the day after treatment etc. So we are looking for someone sensitive, compassionate and with lots of common sense.
Duties:
Collection from school
Relax and play at home or short trip to the park/library/play date
Help with homework/school reading books
Empty out school bags each day and organise what is required - e.g. Clean PE kit on correct day, things they have to take in eg empty yoghurt pots for school gardening club!
Prepare dinner - I do the food shop and a weekly meal plan so nanny just follows the plan Stuck on the fridge. Simple meals e.g. Pasta, chicken breast and peas
Bath and change into PJs
Organising the children' washing.
We have a weekly cleaner so no other housekeeping is expected.
You
Warm, caring, sensible and experienced with children
DBS check
Good spoken English
Desire for a long-term role with the family.
