After-school nanny position available with friendly family in Forest Hill, Monday to Thursday 3.00pm-6.30pm. Start date flexible, from 20 August onwards.
We are a friendly, busy, book-loving family of four. We'd love to find a cheerful, energetic, well-organised and reliable after-school nanny for our 4 year old son who starts reception in September, and our 2 year old daughter who is still at nursery. Ideally you'll live locally (in or close to Forest Hill).
- Hours: 3.00pm-6.30pm Monday to Friday during term time, with the option of doing longer evening hours by agreement, and/or full time hours during school holidays.
- Duties: pick-up from school (3.15pm) and nursery (around 4.30pm), assist with reception-level school work, organise engaging activities/games, read stories, prepare basic snacks and meals.
- Location: Forest Hill (SE23), 6 minutes’ walk from Forest Hill station.
- Home: a spacious house, with good outdoor space and garden, in a quiet street. We have a cat.
- experience / qualifications: contactable references re previous work with children. DBS checked.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Non-smoker.
- Salary: £10-£12/hour depending on experience.
