We are looking for a reliable and friendly after-school nanny to supervise our 2 daughters, aged 10 and 12. 
 
Core working time will be 10 hours per week, 3.30pm to 6pm Monday to Thursday, with some flexibility to stay later if required and to work 1 or 2 full days a week in school holidays.  There will also be the opportunity to earn overtime by babysitting.
 
The girls come home themselves from schools nearby and are well behaved and fairly independent so main duties will be:
 
Be at home when the children return from school
Supervise homework and music practice when needed.
Cook a healthy supper each day
Keep kitchen/dining areas clean afterwards
Some light housework, mainly ironing, when time permits
Take/collect children to/from activities locally when required.
 
Salary is £11 per hour with 4 weeks paid holiday, excluding bank holidays.
 
Ideally you will have previous experience with children, a recent DBS criminal record check and first aid qualifications.
 
You must be eligible to work in the UK and available to start before 18 September.
 
Preference will be given to applicants who live locally.
