Who we are
We are based in Wandsworth Common and have two children – our son is 4 and our daughter is 11.
What we need
We are looking for after-school childcare 4 days a week (Mon-Thursday) for the beginning of the next school year and possibly full-time during the holidays (except when we are away). Hours during term time would be 3.15pm to 6.15pm.
What the role involves
Whilst both schools are a walk away, we’d prefer someone who drives. School pick up for our son in Balham would be at 3.15pm – it’s likely our daughter will make her own way home.
Other duties would include preparing meals for the children, helping with homework (just for the youngest), and generally getting things ready for the next school day. Finish would be around 6.15pm when we return from work.
Who would be best suited
The role is ideal for someone perhaps with older children themselves. We need to find someone very reliable and mature with experience of caring for children of similar ages. A CRB check is essential, as is having a good standard of English.
