We are a family living just off Highbury Fields looking for part time after-school care 2 days a week for our two boys aged 8 and nearly 5 years. Both are outgoing and friendly and get on well together.
We are looking for a person who is responsible, fun loving, energetic and caring. The part-time nature of the role might suit a student.
Hours:
• 3.15pm to 7.30pm on Monday
• 3.15pm to 7.30pm on Wednesday
• Possibility of additional hours on a Thursday on an irregular basis.
• Occasional babysitting
• Possibility of extra hours in half terms and school holidays
The role:
• School pick up on both days for the youngest boy at 3.15 (from Children’s House Upper school in Islington where he is starting reception) and pick up from school coach from bus stop in Highbury Barn for older boy on Wed only (he gets a lift home on Monday)
• Supervise homework
• Bring them to occasional local activities and playdates
• Prepare simple dinners and organise bath time
• Light housework (clear table, dishwasher, tidy Toys)
• Occasional local errands such as dry cleaning pick up/grocery shopping
The requirements:
• Availability from beginning of September 2022
• Good written and spoken English
• Good cook
• Relevant prior experience with children
• Checkable references
• DBS checked or willingness to do so
• Valid work permit

Salary is based on experience.
