Role: Live-out Nanny
Location: Chelsea
Care for: G5 and G8
Hours: 3pm – 7pm, Wednesdays and Fridays (+ one night babysitting)
Salary: £15 NPH
A lovely client of ours who have just relocated from New York are seeking an after-school Nanny for their two daughters, based in Chelsea.
You will be caring for two girls aged 5 and 8 years in a shared care capacity with Mum. The days you will be required to work are Wednesdays and Fridays, one day working 3pm - 7pm and the second day working 3pm - 11.30pm/midnight.
The ideal candidate will have 5 + years’ Nanny experience working with children of a similar age, in London. Be fluent in English and Spanish. A full UK driving license, along with confidence driving in London is essential.
The girls go to school in Notting Hill, so it is essential that the Nanny has a clean UK driving license and is confident driving in London, as he/she will be required to use a car provided by the family for school pick-up.
A full-time housekeeper is employed Monday – Friday, so the Nanny will only be required to do light housekeeping duties for the children such as wardrobe management and tidying away Toys and games.
This is a shared care position so you must be happy to work alongside the girls’ mother and “Muck-in” around the home to ensure the household runs smoothly.
Duties;
• Collect the children from school
• Take the children to after-school activities
• Assist and encourage the girls to do their homework
• Assist with reading and spelling
• Speaking in Spanish and English at home
• Encourage and assist with violin practice
• Take the children swimming
• Engage the girls in outdoor sports and games
• Take the children to the park
• Cook healthy and nutritious meals for the children
• Organise and maintain the girls’ wardrobes
• Run errands for the family
• Grocery shopping
• Babysitting one night per week
• Monitor the children’s development
To be considered for this role you must;
• 5 + years’ experience working as a Nanny
• Have an EU or UK passport (for travel reasons)
• Full UK Driving License
• Up to date DBS check
• Paediatric First Aid Certificate
• Excellent contactable references.
