Afternoon school pick up and help at home for family near Highgate/ Archway (N6)
We are a friendly and happy family with two girls (8 and 10 years old) who love reading, music, sport and making things.  We are looking for ca 15 hours of help each week during term time and also, ideally, some support during school holidays.
We are looking for someone to walk and pick up the two girls from nearby schools most days, to bring them home or to after school activities, to support them in doing some homework, and to give them a simple tea.  On days when the girls finish later from school then we would like help in doing some household tasks and errands.
Start time would be ca 15:00 hrs.  Finish time would normally be 18:00 hrs.  There will be some babysitting opportunities if you wish.
The role is maternity cover for 1 year.
We would offer a competitive (gross) salary, 4 weeks holiday per year (pro rata) plus public holidays, and membership of the national pension scheme (NEST), through a payroll service accounting for tax and NI.  We would also be happy to offer references on us from people who have worked for us.

It is essential that you:

Enjoy working with children
Have two excellent UK checkable references.
Are honest, caring, reliable and responsible.
Speak excellent English
Are CRB checked
Are legally able to work in the UK

We would prefer that you:

Have a qualification in first aid
Live locally
