I’m looking for a competent, organised, bright and cheerful person to work c.12-15 hours a week, normally 3:15pm-6:45 pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and possible help on Mondays from 4-6 starting immediately.

I need you to pick the children up from school in SW8 and then take them to after school clubs, to the park or straight home and then cook a good supper and tidy up the house a little as you go.

We can pay £11 per hour.  Additional evening babysitting may be available at £8 per hour. Other additional hours may be available on an ad hoc basis. During the school holidays, there may be extra work available.

You must be friendly, active, patient, good fun and have lots of common sense. You must know how to get around London while keeping children safe.  You must be well-organised, making sure you’re never late to collect them and so that you can juggle having fun with ensuring they're not too tired or hungry.  You must be able to cook a good supper for the kids and clear up neatly afterwards. You must be confident and happy to deal with a bit of homework help and reading with the kids. We would like you to bath the kids and get them ready for bed.

It’s important you are good at communicating with us and with the children about logistics and what happens during the day.

Formal childcare experience is not necessary but you must have experience of looking after children and particularly enjoy spending time with them. We would also like to see references and speak to referees.
