We are a relaxed, friendly family in south east London looking for a fun, kind after-school carer to look after our 6 year old son and 8 year old daughter, who attend a school in Streatham.
The role would involve escorting the children home to West Norwood, playing, reading or crafting with them, preparing a simple evening meal, supervising some post-dinner screen time and associated light household duties. The hours would be 3.30 – 6.30 Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during term time only.
Additional babysitting and holiday hours may be available.
We are looking for a reliable, responsible and fun individual who enjoys engaging with children and has experience of being in sole charge. Our son has ASD so a patient and caring attitude is a must. Childcare qualifications are not essential, but we seek someone with a current DRB check and relevant references. experience of working with children with special needs would be a big plus.
Would suit someone studying or someone with other part-time commitments during the rest of the week.
Start date is as soon as possible. Must be able to commit until the end of the summer term (July 2022).
