We are a happy family in Belsize Park who need help with school pick up in the afternoon, starting mid September onwards.
Our son goes to school in Hampstead, 30 minutes away from our home, and our daughter goes to school 4 minutes from our home! You would pick up the children, bring them home, give them tea, supervise reading or playing or things they have to do for school, help prepare dinner for the family, give the children their shower. They do not have outside after school activities. Our daughter has violin lessons once a week at home. They are very curious, active children and you will be very busy talking to them, reading, cooking, making things! There will also be washing up, light housekeeping, keeping the children's things tidy. We have someone else to do cleaning and ironing.
We need someone who speaks good english (we are all very articulate and you have to pass on accurately any messages that the teacher might have) who absolutely loves children, who is honest, hardworking, resourceful, honest, sincere, comes to work on time, and completely reliable. If you cook really well, that is a bonus! We had a lovely nanny for 3 years before she left to have her own baby. We miss her every day!
Ideally you would be happy to take on more and more responsibilities, be available to do babysitting, and demonstrate that you are able to take the children out locally in a structured and enjoyable way during half term and holidays. We are looking for a one year committment at a minimum.
We are looking for a lovely person that lives, thinks and breathes children, and who will love the children (almost!) as much as we do, that genuinely wants to spend time with them, so please reply only if you are willing to commit to this position. Salary commensurate with experience and attitude.
We would like to see a CV, and checkable references. Teaching experience and musical skills would be a bonus.
