Fruity Club is an after school care service running at Sacred Heart Primary school in Battersea. We are open to children from Nursery to Year 6, and we are looking for a team co-coordinator to work in our Early Years/KS1 room. You will need to possess at least a NVQ3 qualification in Early years, (a pending NVQ3 will be considered).
At Fruity Club, we are fully aware that as much as providing a service for working parents to rely on, we are firstly providing care for the children that join us. We want them to have a home from home, where warmth, routine, discipline and stimulus are provided.
Children will arrive at our club after a full and challenging day at school and although tired, will be looking to belong in an environment where they can have security and care, be supported by the staff and the children around them, and have stimulating and social activity.
We are looking for someone to work with the children, to collaborate with the manager, and provide activities and care for the children.
Job description
• To lead the children in homework and fun activities.
• Work with all staff to ensure and provide care, play opportunities and activities in a homely, nurturing, and safe environment, with regard to the individual development needs of the children.
• Liaise with the manager with regard to the needs of the children who attend the club.
• To liaise with parents to encourage parental involvement and support of the After School Club
Title: Club Co-coordinator
Accountability: The post-holder will be responsible to the manager, and Mr John Cronin, the owner of Fruity Club Ltd.
Location: Sacred Heart Primary School, Este Road, London, SW11 2TD
Hours: 3pm – 6.30 pm Monday to Friday term time
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Dependent on qualifications and experience.
