We are ideally looking for a warm, enthusiastic and resourceful person to cover after school care for two days a week (Tuesday/Wednesday).
We are a family with two funny and (mainly!) well behaved children, a 6 year old girl and a 5 year old boy. We live approximately 200 metres from their school and 10 minutes walk from Balham tube/rail station. We don't have any pets.
We need our children to be collected from school at 3.30pm and brought home. You would prepare the children's tea and assist with a little basic homework e.g. Testing spellings, times tables, writing, reading. You would also need to supervise bath-time and be available to cover up to 6.30pm/7pm when either my husband or I would return from work. You might also need to take/collect the children from the occasional local playdate or club (although neither child currently attends a club on Tuesday/Wednesday).
We would also consider an au pair arrangement or nanny share with another local family.
We are looking for someone who has experience of being either a nanny or working with children, has a first aid qualification and is CRB/DBS checked. References required.
