Hi,
We’re a friendly family of 4 looking for someone to help with term time pick-up/after school care and holiday cover for our 4 year old boy and 3 year old girl.
Where: we live in Camberwell/East Dulwich (SE5) and pick-up is a 12 minute walk past a park
Hours: 3.30pm - 6.30pm 4 days a week
Start date: flexible but preferably mid-August so that you we can all get to know each other before school starts on Sept 6th
Who we’d like: someone who enjoys being around children and helping them to learn. Cooking them simple meals. Helping to tidy up after the children (housework not required). A French-speaker a plus! A normal afternoon includes picking the kids up from school (one on bike, other bike or buggy), playing with them, reading to them, giving them supper. Occasionally we may need you to bath them but we will normally do that.
Ideal but not essential:
- You don’t need to be able to drive, but it might be helpful occasionally (clean driving licence)
- Occasional help with morning drop-off
- Ability to do more hours (ie full days) during school holidays
- Occasional availability for babysitting
- French speaking is a bonus!
We asked our children who they’d like and they said:
“Someone who can help me with my Lego and likes bin lorries“
“Someone who likes Elsa and playing hide and seek“
We look forward to hearing from you!
Thank you.
