Hello! We are looking for childcare for our children - two boys going into Year 4 (age.
8) And Year 6 (age 10) – ideally 4 days a week Monday - Thursday after school and in the school holidays, however happy to discuss options that cover 2-3 days in school time. We live in East Dulwich, SE22.
We are looking for childcare from someone who will bring enthusiasm, kindness, common sense, fun and intelligence to the role and would consider anyone with relevant experience – teaching experience ideal.
The school is a short car journey (less than 2 miles) from our home and a fully expensed car will be provided to be used for the school run/activities.
Duties will include:
- collecting the children from school and after school clubs;
- assisting with homework;
- cooking dinner after school/meals in the holidays;
- taking them to any after school activities/holidays activities;
- helping to arrange play dates including holiday activities;
- light household duties.
Essential qualities:
- experience of young children, ability to help with reading/writing/homework;
- nanny qualification not required;
- good cooking skills;
- experienced driver and clean licence;
- warm and encouraging personality;
- strong communication skills;
- good spoken and written English;
- CRB checked.
We need someone to work Monday – Thursday:
- from 3.00pm (or 4:30pm on some nights) to 6.45pm in school term time;
- from 8.30am to 6.45pm in the school holidays.
However, we would be happy to meet and discuss if the exact hours above were a problem. It is likely that either or both parents will occasionally work from home. Also, there is a high likelihood that on 2 out of the 4 days the boys are in after school clubs until 5:00pm so would not need collecting until then.
We are ideally looking for someone to start on Tuesday 29th August 2022 (although the start date can be discussed and negotiated).
