Sales and Marketing Associate
A pro-active with on-line and off-line Sales and Marketing experience with passion for (creative arts would be a bonus) is required to drive sales for our fast growing creative and Christmas studio based in East Barnet. It will suit self- motivated, driven individual who enjoy working on their own or as part of a team.
The role is standalone and a full 360 marketing mix so will need someone who enjoys autonomy and accountability. You will need to think strategically to plan and drive the marketing campaigns, but also have sound technical ability to action the projects too. This is a very exciting, versatile and challenging role.
Within your first two weeks you will already have generated ground-breaking ideas to help build an online presence, liaised with the Director, created marketing materials and spoke to strategic alliances and 10 potential clients.
Hours
Due to the nature of the business our working week is as follows: Monday to Friday
January to September 9:00AM - 5:00PM, October to December 8:30AM - 6:30PM
Salary (19k start) 12 wks review
The Role
First month: Examine and segment Design and Christmas customers into detailed customer types. Audit activity and write a 12-month marketing plan, to double direct sales from existing database (this includes doubling retention).
Debate and agree new segments, then design and implement strategies to target them
Noise and Message: discuss with director how to significantly increase the “noise” with business communication with customers and how to stand out from the crowd. Manage various marketing projects within the business
Set campaign goals, identify target audiences, manage the digital creative process from brief to delivery, and optimise acquisition campaigns
Seek out innovative opportunities to drive growth
Manage existing Social Media accounts including blogs, to drive direct sales and deliver joined up messaging
Create graphic content and ideas pre-launch and thereafter
Create online publications and monthly newsletters
Researching and writing website and blog content and update websites when required
Consistently present ideas and concepts to the creative director
Liaise with external web designers and contribute to the build of the website
Be the brand voice and ambassador, ensuring the message and brand is always projected positively within the market
Create Monthly Report with the followings: key marketing pieces over the past month (what worked, what didn’t); web traffic sources and conversion to sales from PR
Establish relationship with PR agencies
Comfortable working with CRM software
Plan marketing activities for the following month in advance
Attend networking meetings
Maintain related admin duties (key)
